The objectives of the project were to give young people with a profile of dyslexia a solid preparation for their transition to higher education and/or the job market and to develop skills for self
advocacy, the latter being the added benefit derived from the meetings held in Malta and Italy
with policy makers. We addressed the following EU priorities:
- Labour market issues incl. career guidance / youth unemployment
- Inclusion – equity
- Reaching the policy level/dialogue with decision makers
Our project received an award for good practices and was featured in the 2018 EUPA annual report (scroll below). Additionally, our project experience was also included in a study which was presented at the Youth@Work Kick-Off Conference held in Istanbul in June 2019 (document included at the end of this page).
